UNDER CONSTRUCTION: Tracking the Progress of Whelan's Latest Projects
New webcams are now playing a role in the construction process.
Whelan Associates has enlisted the help of construction cameras to track and document the progress of Two Washington Place, from groundbreaking to completion. The groundbreaking and construction of Two Washington Place, a 42,000 square foot, Class A medical office building located on Route 138 in Easton, MA, started in late 2007 and pre-leasing has already begun. The project, which is slated for completion in the fall of 2008, is the second in a multi-building medical center development.
The cameras are set to record still images of the project site every 10 minutes, enabling everyone to view the progress and current state of the project on the Whelan Associates website, www.whelanassociates.com. With the success of the construction cameras at Two Washington Place, Whelan Associates has also set up cameras for the demolition of existing structures and new construction of a parking garage for St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, MA. The company is planning on using the cameras for future projects as well, including Three Washington Place in Easton, MA.
