Growing Real Estate Developer and Strategic Service Provider Adds New Staff

The staff is expanding at Whelan Associates.

Whelan Associates, a proven leader in strategic real estate services, is pleased to announce the addition of several new, highly skilled employees and associates to the company.

Mr. Pat Steriti and Mr. Paul Donovan have been contracted as Project Managers for the current construction projects.

Ms. Jessica L. Bettencourt has joined the Whelan Associates team as a Contract Administrator. Prior to joining Whelan Associates, she gained experience as an Administrative Assistant for a local private education company, an Accounting Associate for the New Bedford Whaling Museum, and as an Operations Assistant for a freight management firm. With her varied and extensive office background and marketing degree from UMass Dartmouth, she is now expanding her knowledge in the areas of real estate and construction services.

Ms. Millie A. Barbosa has accepted the position of Junior Accountant and comes to Whelan Associates with over 7 years of accounting experience. She had been employed by two prominent Accounting firms in the New Bedford area, where she handled a vast array of financial and administrative functions. In addition to Accounting, Millie also brings her knowledge of Real Estate. She has served the community as a Realtor for the past 5 years, having been recognized as Top Producer in both 2005 & 2006.

Ms. Suzanne C. Blouin has joined Whelan Associates with accounting and bookkeeping experience and serves as the Assistant to the CFO. Suzanne previously held positions as a legal secretary, and full charge bookkeeper for a local law firm, as well as a payroll administrator for a rehabilitation and nursing facility. With the growing number of projects, Suzanne has proven to be a valuable asset to the CFO.
