Whelan Associates Expands Their Corporate Office Space at Union Square

New office space has been built out for Whelan's growing number of empoyees and consultants.

Whelan Associates, a proven leader in strategic real estate services, is steadily increasing their project load and in turn are adding new, highly skilled employees and associates to the company. As business has grown, so has the need for more space, and Whelan Associates is no stranger to expansion.

In just a few short years they have moved their corporate headquarters from Bourne Counting House on the New Bedford waterfront, to Faunce Corner Executive Center, in Dartmouth, MA. Whelan Associates has been operating out of their current space at 174 Union Street in New Bedford, MA, since April 2006. The building, formerly the New Bedford Institute for Savings, was built in 1897. The building was recently updated and repositioned and is now home to Bank 5, the New Bedford Oceanarium, RLD Transportation, Rockland Trust, and Whelan Associates.

Whelan Associates originally occupied 4,073 square feet and have now added 2,329 square feet by expanding to the entire fourth floor of the building. The newly completed space includes five offices, three workstations, a second conference room, and a plan room. With the expanded office space, Whelan Associates is now fully prepared for their growing staff.
